They also outline plans for the “Art Of Beer Village” that will include beer and chocolate/cheese pairings, ingredients, a chance to learn off-flavors and try some cask ales!
Complete list of participating World Beer Festival breweries can be viewed at this link.
This list also shows the following breweries in attendance: Hellion Brewing, Stevens Point Brewery, Port City, Jailhouse Brewing Co, Summit Brewing Co, St Peter’s, National Brewing Co. (“Nattty Boh”) and Weeping Radish!
From their newsletter: The theme of this year’s WBF-Raleigh is The Art of Beer, and what better way to celebrate it than with an entire educational village at the festival? In addition to sampling beers from over 100 breweries, listen to presentations about off-flavors, the state’s own malt house and how farmers are learning to grow hops in North Carolina while tasting beer! Wonder how to pair chocolate, cheese and appetizers with beer? Experience these combinations in the pairings tent, and learn about the hop, malt and yeast varieties in your beer in the essential ingredients tent! You’ll also have the chance to taste real, cask ale from local brewers in the style perfected cross the pond. No warm, flat beer here!
